At JD Videography, we are laid back, yet professional.  We strive to cause no extra stress throughout your day, while still capturing the best content possible.  We go the extra mile to make the entire process as simple and straightforward as possible from booking through delivery.

The highlight film is your wedding video.  It is a compilation of highlights throughout the day set to licensed music.  The highlight film can incorporate the vows, dances, speeches, and more.  They vary in length depending on your chosen package. We are very laid back at JD Videography, and we are easy to work with.  We understand that many couples prioritize photography over video, so we stay out of the photographers' way, while still capturing excellent visuals.  During the ceremony, we utilize at least two camera angles, so if a photographer is in one of our shots, we can switch to an alternate angle.

At JD Videography, we do offer raw footage as an add-on to any package, and it is included in our top-tier packages.  You will receive a flash drive with all of the raw footage throughout the day.  

Please be aware, raw footage typically isn't "pretty".  You will receive anywhere from 100-300 clips ranging from 5 seconds to 30 minutes.  It will not be color corrected and the audio will not sound very good.

Yes, we require a 25% deposit to secure any date.  This deposit is non-refundable.  

We require a 25% deposit upfront to secure your date.  The remainder is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.  

Our preferred method of payment is PayPal.  You will receive a link that will take you right to our PayPal page and you can pay that way.  We also use Stripe and can take payment via cash or check.

Yes, we carry $1 million in liability insurance.

If a couple who has already booked with JD Videography decides to postpone their wedding due to public health concerns, we will transfer the deposit to a new date if we are available.  However, if we are not available for the new date, your deposit will not be returned.  If a government mandate forces you to cancel or postpone your wedding, we will return the deposit.

The ceremony video is a straightforward video of the ceremony.  We utilize at least two camera angles and put microphones on the groom and officiant.  We edit all of these together and create a smooth video of your ceremony. 

A sneak peek trailer is a short (usually 1-2 minutes) version of a highlight film.  If you choose our Premium or Hollywood packages, you will receive a sneak peek video within 48 hours.  If you choose the sneak peek trailer as an add-on, you will receive it within 1 week.
